Kyle is a registered patent attorney and an associate with the firm where he focuses on intellectual property matters. Kyle graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry.
After his time at Florida State, Kyle graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with a certificate in Intellectual Property in 2018. During his time in law school, Kyle participated in the Giles Sutherland Rich Patent Moot Court Competition where his team advanced to the quarterfinals of the regional competition. Outside of law school, Kyle volunteered with the 8th Judicial Circuit of Florida’s Guardian ad litem program and worked as a Patent Fellow at the University of Florida’s Office of Technology Licensing. In his role as a Patent Fellow, Kyle conducted patentability searches and determined the commercial viability of technologies developed by UF researchers. Kyle began his time at Carey Rodriguez as a law clerk in 2017 and joined our team as an associate after graduation.
